I started feeling comfortable with clay, so decided to try our hero.

Vegetable set

This is an addition to the Chettiar set ....  I made it with air dry clay.  It is easier to make shapes with air dry clay.

Golu Bommai

This is my first golu bommai set.  I made it with polymer clay and painted it with acrylic paint.  I decided to make chettiar bommai as i was having very few golu bommai . Our first golu was in 2007 with just 3 golu dolls ( Durga Lakshmi and Saraswathi ) in one step.

Painting still objects provides a lot of opportunities for learning some of the techniques with respect to shades, light effects etc. Since it is relatively easy to paint still objects, it relaxes my mind especially after a complicated project.
