I had my first Art Mela in 2013 November.

lakshmi Vijayaraghavan: I love painting. I have been painting from my childhood. During my school days I was mainly into pencil sketching and water colors. Later on i started painting different pictures of Hindu gods and goddess. I started exploring Acrylics in 2001 when i came to USA and got an opportunity to learn by watching several videos of Jerry Yarnell. The paintings that i have displayed in this page are acrylic based. Most of my paintings are either landscapes or still objects as I really love nature's beauty. occasionally, I also like to work on abstract subjects as well. I returned back to India and started visiting several art galleries in Chennai. I got inspired by simple traditional Indian art.
